Rocky Mountian Church Network

The Rocky Mountain CBA has always desired to assist churches and pastors develop disciplines for church health and Great Commission ministry impact. In the articulation of our ministry values, which are the expression of our association’s historical core beliefs, a picture of the mission fulfilled, a vision, has formed. With this renewed passion to focus on the health and advancement of the local church, and the ongoing development of a team of trained leaders to facilitate the vision, the Rocky Mountain CBA has embraced a new name. We are now the Rocky Mountain Church Network. Our Values Mission and Vision statement can be found on our website at www.RMCN.org.

'INTENTIONAL INTERIMS = SMOOTH TRANSTIONS'

Recently, Leon Chriestenson completed 6 months as intentional interim with Golden Prairie Baptist Church in Burns, Wyoming.  The following is a quote from an evaluation letter a church leader wrote.
Leon"Leon and his wife, Lynn did an excellent job in our transitional pastor position.  Their best asset was a genuine love for the people of our church and a desire to help us grow closer to Christ.  His laid back, humorous style was very refreshing and helped bring healing to the congregation.  He was able to challenge the congregation, but also let us know we are loved by God.  Leon did a great job of keeping us focused on the vision and mission process through his sermon series and through his comments in our Deacons meetings.  Much of Leon and Lynn's ministry happened outside of Sunday services.  They were dedicated beyond what was asked, showing up to help a family after a tornado damaged their home.  I will highly recommend Leon to his next position.  Thanks (RMCN) for all your help through the transition process.  It seemed that the guidance really helped smooth out the process."

Leon's time at Golden Prairie concluded when the church called Andy Moore to serve their church as Pastor.  Andy was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Colorado when he was 10 years old.  He met his wife, Debbie in the churchFall picture 2 youth group while in high school.  After they married, the Lord led them to serve in San Francisco, Japan, South Dakota, Delaware, Arizona and Colorado.  Andy also served in law enforcement in Colorado while in his twenties and currently writes curriculum for a Tennessee-based company that developes on-going teaching material for student ministries.  Andy and Debbie have recently been appointed to serve as Youth Leaders for the Fort Collins, CO chapter of the Christian Motorcyclist Association.  They also enjoy being involved in Scottish events and education, cooking and karate.  The Moores have two married sons who live in Missouri and Arizona.

We want to welcome the Moores to beautiful 'windy' Burns, Wyoming.
